Company Marvel Studios has revealed cut scenes from its latest superhero movie, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Superhero blockbuster “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” is showing excellent results at the box office, but fans of the MCU are already waiting for the release of the film on DVD and Blu-Ray, Gamebomb.ru reports. Such releases are usually accompanied by additional material, including not only interviews with the actors and comments from the filmmakers, but also cut scenes. How many there will be is still unknown, but actor Florian Munteanu has already revealed two such moments. In Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, he played a memorable character named Razor Fist. It turned out that he was supposed to appear in two more scenes along with the main villain of the action movie Wenwu, Shang-Chi’s father.
In the cut scenes of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Razor Fist was supposed to reveal more of Wenwu himself, who was previously considered a Mandarin, Gamebomb.ru reports. The audience wanted to show how this character lost his arm and received a prosthesis with a blade. The authors of the action movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe filmed footage in which Shang-Chi’s father first meets Razor Fist and offers him his help. From this begins a new life of this character already as part of the “Ten Rings” organization. The actor did not disclose the details of this scene. He hopes that fans will see for themselves how these cut scenes appear in the public domain.
In the second cut scene of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Razor Fist was shown again. Viewers will remember that during the final scene, Ta Lo’s fighters give him a dragon blade, which he uses in place of his prosthetic. In theaters, the use of the new Razor Fist weapon in battle was practically not shown, but in the cut scene its potential was fully revealed, says Florian Munteanu.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was released on September 2, 2023. Cut scenes will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray. However, it is not yet known when this release will take place.
