New trailer for the upcoming blockbuster Marvel The Eternals showcases the team’s new abilities in fighting the Deviants and shows Angelina Jolie using her golden sword.
Marvel has released a new trailer for the Eternals movie following the events of Avengers Endgame, in which Ma Dong-seok’s Gilgamesh uses her powers to strike the attacker Deviant. According to Gamebomb.ru, previous trailers of the film “The Eternals” have already shown various abilities of the Eternals: some have laser eyes, some have special weapons, and some have technical abilities, but this is the first time that fans have seen Gilgamesh and Angelina Jolie in action. The Eternals is the next part of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), which introduces ten completely new characters to the franchise with a diverse cast of actors including Salma Hayek and Gemma Chan. Additionally, Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington is making his MCU debut as the new Eternal superhero.
The film takes place in two time frames, where immortal beings known as the Eternals fight the battle against the sinister Deviants, a destructive race of life-threatening beings on Earth. The group must unite to combat this common threat after hiding from people for centuries and helping to shape their very existence. The Eternals were created by comic book legend Jack Kirby in 1976 and have made regular appearances in comics ever since, but this is their first appearance on the big screen. The Eternals will be one of the longest MCU films to date, at 156 minutes, slightly less than the blockbuster Avengers Endgame.
As it became known to Gamebomb.ru, “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” and “Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage” have already hit the screens, the next big push for the release of the film based on comics will be “The Eternals.” This new trailer will be one of many featuring the various characters and themes of the film, aiming to attract as many viewers as possible. The Eternals will only be released in theaters on November 5, 2023, but all of the characters are new to casual non-comic book viewers, so fans should expect a massive boost in the campaign.
