A new production site was launched in the Nizhny Novgorod region – the city of Arzamas.
Rikor Electronics, a domestic developer and manufacturer of computer technology, has launched the first ODM-production of electronics in the history of our country based on domestic processors Elbrus and Baikal.
A new production site was launched in the Nizhny Novgorod region – the city of Arzamas. It will produce laptops and tablet computers, as well as servers, server platforms, data storage systems and components for them. The capacity of the new production line is designed for approximately 1,000,000 units of finished products per year under normal operating conditions and up to 3,000,000 units when the plant is organized in three shifts.
Ricor Electronics promises to provide jobs for up to 500 people. The launch of a new production required investments in the region of 3.2 billion rubles, of which 2 billion was spent on the development of design documentation and software (in particular, BIOS), and the remaining funds were used to purchase new equipment.
