Horizon: Forbidden West Coming to Explicit Content

On November 30, the Australian government’s media ratings apparatus released an official decision regarding Horizon: Forbidden West. According to the decision, the game was assigned a mature classification, or “M: Science Fiction Themes and Violence”, which exactly coincides with the general classification assigned to the first part of Horizon: Zero Dawn.

In turn, the Australian Classification Commission, when setting an age rating, considers six main areas, where it indicates how much each of them affects the subject under consideration.

According to the diagram, the themes of violence, abuse, drug use, and nudity are the same for both games, but for Forbidden West, the Sex thread has moved up one notch from “no” to “very light impact” (Horizon: Zero Dawn has no sexual content at all ). And although no one in the sequel will be naked, but the themes of sex in the game will be present. How will this be implemented? Given the ease of influence, perhaps we will have a dialogue that refers to the topic of copulation. Or maybe a colorful rock painting will be met somewhere.
