Love Beamdog’s Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition and want a slightly more modern feel? Then Beamdog has a solution already.
After several years of work, Beamdog released the free HD Models & Textures Pack for Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition, which visually enhances the character models and their equipment (including armor, weapons and shields), giving the classic RPG a much more modern look. The update takes over 4GB, which has increased the total disk space required for the game to 16GB.
Currently, the HD Texture Pack can only be downloaded from the Beamdog website. Hopefully, at some point, Beamdog will post it on Steam as a free DLC to make things easier for players.
Be that as it may, so far this is a regular download, which can easily be accessed by anyone. This update appears to be compatible with both Steam and GOG versions of the game.
