Here’s the first trailer for the adaptation of 343 Industries’ Halo shooters, filmed by Showtime and Amblin by Steven Spielberg and contributing to the series.
Fans of the universe will find not just the beloved battle fiction about the distant future, space and violent aliens, but something of the level of “Game of Thrones”, according to the authors of the show. Pablo Schreiber (American Gods, Defending Jacob) hid under the armor of the Master Chief’s Mjolnir, while Jane Taylor, who voiced the AI in the games, was reincarnated as Cortana.
Kyle Killen (Awakening) and Steve Kane (The Last Ship) are responsible for the script and the series as a whole, and the production team includes Otto Bathurst (Dark Materials), Jonathan Libesman (The Chronicles of Shannara), MJ Bassett ( “Solomon Kane”) and Roel Ray (“Killer U”).
Halo will begin streaming on Paramount + early next year.
