Insider Tom Hendersonwho is involved in Battlefield 2042 has released a new video. In it, he said that in the near future, the battle royale mode may appear in the game.
Henderson did not name any specific dates, but specified that the regime would not appear “in the next six months.”
In the upcoming Battlefield, teams of specialists, not armies, will fight. It looks like this will be the same battle royale.
Henderson clarified that Battlefield 2042 is just a stepping stone to a full-fledged battle royale. It seems that DICE and EA see this format as very promising.
