At The Game Awards 2023, developer Outerloop Games and publisher Annapurna Interactive unveiled their new narrative adventure game for PC: Thirsty Suitors, a project about cultural differences, relationships, family issues and self-expression.
Thirsty Suitors follows a woman named Jala who returns to her hometown for her sister’s wedding. In her youth, she had to go through a lot and now the players have to help the heroine deal with the past and overcome various difficulties on the way to becoming the best version of herself.
The game features turn-based battles, cooking and skateboarding.
Will Jala be able to defend herself in front of demanding parents, solve problems with exes and deal with broken relationships before her sister’s wedding? Will she be ready for the decisive visit of Nani – the stern and quick to reprisal matriarch of the family?
