The Cyberpunk 2077 designer has thanked fans following a “flood” of very positive user reviews on Steam this week. Cyberpunk is currently the worldwide # 1 selling Steam after a 50% discount as part of the Fall Steam Sale.
New players seem to have had a much better experience than those who purchased it at launch, as the game’s user rating was raised to “very positive” thanks to over 18,000 recent reviews.
Pavel Sasko, CD Projekt’s Quest Director for Cyberpunk, reacted to this news by thanking the fans on Twitter. “You have no idea what that means to me,” he wrote. “Many thanks!”
Recently, the president of CDP announced that patch 1.5, the next major update of the game, will appear in Cyberpunk 2077 only in first quarter of 2023 years, he also believes that Cyberpunk 2077 will be considered a “very good game” in the future, once its problems are finally resolved.
However, Cyberpunk brand awareness, which we managed to build is huge, and the game universe, its characters and details have fans all over the world. We believe that in the long term, Cyberpunk 2077 will be perceived as a very good game and, like our other games, it will be on sale for years – especially since the hardware will be more efficient and the game will be constantly improved by us
Cyberpunk 2077 is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
