During a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Bullock discussed a variety of topics, including numerous films in which she has appeared and rumors of a role in Spider-Man. When the topic of superhero movies came up, Bullock shared with the talk show host:
I was contacted from the same studio, and it was not Marvel, but my son said not to. Louis kind of felt like I shouldn’t have … and in fact, he was right. I saw this movie when it came out and I was like, “Ooo! This is unfortunate ….”
It’s unclear what movie Bullock is actually talking about, but the actress also noted that it wasn’t a DC project either. She gave a hint to fans, mentioning that her son was 6 years old at the time of the proposal. Sandra is sure that “the Internet will definitely be able to figure it out.” While the actress may still take on a role from the Marvel Universe in the future, she bluntly stated, “I don’t think I’m Marvel material.”
Of course, sometimes the actors just aren’t interested in the superhero world, and that’s okay. While comic book films like The Eternals try to break the superhero formula, in the end, these films aren’t for everyone.
