Publisher Daedalic Entertainment and developer Mimimi Games today released the standalone add-on Aiko’s Choice to their community-acclaimed tactical stealth simulator Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun.
The events in the add-on, as in the base game, will take place in Edo-era Japan, and the plot will center on the kunoichi Aiko, who was overtaken by the ghosts of the past, and now she has to deal with a new enemy together with her squad of the best assassins.
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun – Aiko’s Choice includes three main and three intermediate quests to be completed in completely new locations. Otherwise, the players will have the same gameplay as in the main game: control a squad of professional assassins and use different tactics to infiltrate protected fortresses or camps. The add-on is available exclusively on personal computers, and until December 13, it can be purchased at a 10% discount on the Steam store. A console version has not yet been announced.
