He stated that Shang-Chi will definitely return in the next films. This seemed obvious to the filmmakers, so they did not add a caption in the first scene after the credits. At the same time, the second scene after the credits of “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” came out not so unambiguous. Kevin Feige explained that the action story gives the impression of the collapse of the Ten Rings organization. The post-credits scene reveals that Xialing has become the new leader of the group, and the caption was added to ensure that the Ten Rings will return. Feige and the filmmakers wanted to show that the organization will still play an important role in the following films.
The film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was released on September 2 and showed good box office receipts in the first weekend, second only to Black Widow among the new products of 2023.
