Asobo and Focus Entertainment have unveiled the first gameplay trailer for the action-adventure Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to the award-winning and critically acclaimed Plague Tale: Innocence.
In the new trailer, under the words of Robert Louis Stevenson’s poem “Requiem”, you can see the first footage of the epic adventure of Amicia and Hugo in a cruel medieval world still plagued by plague. Escaping from a devastated country, the two main characters travel far south to start a new life away from the plague and help Hugo curb the ancestral curse.
But the forces of Hugo wake up again – and here they are, hordes of rats, carrying death and destruction on their gray backs. Brother and sister are forced to flee again … This time they are led by a prophecy about a distant island, which may become the key to saving Hugo.
Find out together with the heroes what you are ready to go to in order to survive and save your loved ones. Attack stealthily or fill your path with the blood of enemies, but whatever you choose – you have a vast arsenal of weapons, tools and supernatural abilities at your service.
Plague Tale: Requiem is slated for release in 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC (Steam). The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass for consoles, PC and cloud services.
