As Riot Games continues to grow and expand, they’ve set up a new office in the Seattle Area (USA).
The new 156,000 square foot office will be home to 400 Riot Games employees. The roles will be a mix of new and existing roles, covering engineering, R&D, live services, and a variety of other roles. The new office will begin with a focus on Valorant, however, other teams will move into the office in the future. Mark Yetter, Game Director for Riot Games’ MMO has confirmed his team will be taking advantage of the new space.
Long term, the MMO team is planning to have roles in both LA and Seattle. This is a big win because we can build a better team with more developers from both areas.

The new office will make it Riot Games’ fourth USA office, joining Los Angeles, San Francisco, and St. Louis. Riot Games also expanded into Shanghai earlier this year as a dedicated global R&D studio. These studios join the 20+ studios globally that work under the Riot Games umbrella.
Riot Continues growth
It’s been a busy year for Riot Games. Alongside a host of updates to their existing games, they’ve released a worldwide hit TV show on Netflix. As well as releasing their first two games under the Riot Forge name. Released on the same day, Ruined King and Hextech Mayhem add to the growing LoL extending the universe of games Riot has built.
With a LoL Esports Manager game, a fighting game (Project L), a hack and slash (Project F), and an MMO, Riot Games is certainly busy. Alongside these “AAA” releases, we’re also expecting “Convergence”, a platformer, and “Song of Nunu”, an adventure game, to be released in 2023.
