Director Edgar Wright, who successfully filmed the Scott Pilgrim comic series in 2010, hinted at a possible continuation of the story.
In doing so, Wright rejected the idea of a sequel or prequel to the franchise. According to him, now such a picture is simply impossible to do, because the studios would not go for it.
However, he shared information that was not previously reported anywhere – Brian Lee O’Malley, the creator of comics about Scott Pilgrim, is preparing “something new.”
This is a completely different format, this is not a film, but another way to continue this story, – said Wright.
The film “Scott Pilgrim vs. All” was released in 2010 after the release of the last part of the comics, which tells about the young guitarist of a rock band, who must win the girl of his dreams from seven opponents.
