An insider named NateDrake reported that Capcom canceled development of the unannounced Resident Evil: Outrage, which, according to him, was a multiplayer game in the Resident Evil series.
NateDrake spoke about this on the forum dedicated to Nintendo products. As NateDrake says, Resident Evil: Outrage was not a Nintendo Switch exclusive as many people assumed, nor was it a Resident Evil: Revelations-style story spin-off. In fact, the game was another multiplayer multiplatform project in the Resident Evil series, but what kind of multiplayer it was – NateDrake did not say.
But if you still wanted an exclusive Resident Evil for Nintendo Switch, then take your time to get upset: according to NateDrake, an exclusive Resident Evil for Nintendo Switch does exist and it has nothing to do with Resident Evil: Outrage, but is this game alive now or is it gone in the trash after Resident Evil: Outrage – NateDrake doesn’t know.
