As previously announced, Sega and the Sonic Team are currently developing a new game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, which is slated for release next year on all current platforms. However, this was the end of all the details, and the Internet began to fill with various rumors, thanks to which the possible name of the upcoming game became known – Sonic Frontiers.
In addition to this, a closed website related to the name was recently discovered, so many speculated about the emergence of new details about the next up-and-coming adventure of the blue hedgehog at the upcoming 2023 The Game Awards, and they seem to be right.
Sonic the Hedgehog’s official Twitter page has a question addressed to TGA 2023 Producer and Organizer Jeff Keely asking about additional invitations to the upcoming awards ceremony. Keely’s response came very quickly, and naturally he found a seat for a 30-year franchise.
Therefore, fans of Sonic should definitely not miss the upcoming event, where, most likely, the first official trailer for the upcoming game will be shown and a more precise release date will be announced.
